Oat Burgers
Ingredients
- 6 cup water
- 3 tbsp herbamare seasoning salt
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 4 cup old fashioned oats
- 2 cup fresh potato, grated
- 2 tsp onion powder
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 2 cup soft bread crumbs
- non-dairy milk to moisten (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the water, herbamare and olive oil to boiling. Add the oats. Cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
- Add the potato, onion powder, yeast flakes and bread crumbs. Stir well then add soy milk if the mixture is dry.
- Remove from the stove and let cool a little. Form into patties using a round ¼ cup measure to make uniform patties. Place on PAM-sprayed cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes (turn after 15 or 20 minutes) until nicely browned.
