Ted's Vegan Bread

A good, filling loaf. Perfect for avocado toast or a vegan sandwich.



  • Place the warm water and 3 cups flour in the Bosch bowl and mix briefly.
  • Add the oil, honey, vital gluten, yeast, soy flour, wheat germ, lemon juice, and salt. Mix briefly and then add one cup white flour.
  • Mix until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and is the desired consistency.
  • Add whole wheat flour until right consistency. (This can be a lot of flour. It should not be sticky to touch)
  • Knead five minutes. Form into five loaves. Place in pans and cover to rise. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. It is done when a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Remove from pans promptly.


When the bread is baked, spray lightly with water for a soft crust.
