Thai Ginger Tofu
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 2 clove garlic crushed
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp herbamare seasoning salt
- ½ tbsp ginger powder or 3 tbps fresh minced ginger
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 block firm tofu
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together, except tofu.
- Slice tofu to make tofu slices. Dry them with paper towel. Lay them in a large shallow baking dish. Cover with the ginger sauce and bake at 350°F until the juice has become thick and there is no water left- about 20 minutes to half an hour.
- Use a spatula to transfer the tofu strips to a serving plate.
