Vegan French Toast
Ingredients
- 2 cup water
- ⅔ cup cashews
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp honey alternative
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp black salt (for eggy flavor, can be left out)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric (for color, can be left out)
Instructions
- Liquify all ingredients together.
- Dip bread slices in mixture. Leave the bread in the mixture longer for a more custardy texture.
- Cook on a non-stick griddle or frying pan until brown on both sides medium to medium-high heat it will take maybe 3-5 min per side. Serve with fresh fruit, maple syrup, and/or powder sugar and enjoy!
