One of my favorite breakfast foods, after going vegan I actually would dream of going to a restaurant seeing a stack of french toast and a sign that said “vegan.”
The black salt and turmeric can be left out. This recipe made a lot of batter so for an individual, you might need to half the recipe or save the rest for later.
Liquify all ingredients together.
Dip bread slices in mixture. Leave the bread in the mixture longer for a more custardy texture.
Cook on a non-stick griddle or frying pan until brown on both sides medium to medium-high heat it will take maybe 3-5 min per side. Serve with fresh fruit, maple syrup, and/or powder sugar and enjoy!
