Vegan Mac 'n Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb macaroni noodles
Sauce:
- 1¼ cup water
- 1 cup plant based milk
- ¾ cup nutritional yeast flakes
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- 2 tbsp margarine
- ¼ cup vegan cream cheese
Instructions
- Cook macaroni noodles.
- Place all ingredients except the noodles, cream cheese and margarine, into blender and blend.
- Drain noodles, and put back in the pot, then add the sauce, and cook until thickened. Add margarine and cream cheese at this time, and allow it to melt throughout.
