Vegan Mac ‘n Cheese

Ingredients:

1 lb macaroni noodles.

Sauce:

1 1/4 cup water

1 cup plant based milk

3/4 cup yeast flakes

3 Tbsp corn starch

1 Tbsp Lemon juice

2 1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 Tsp turmeric

2 Tbsp margarine

1/4 cup vegan cream cheese

Directions:

1. Cook macaroni noodles.

2. Place all ingredients except the noodles, cream cheese and margarine, into blender and blend.

3. Drain noodles, and put back in the pot, then add the sauce, and cook until thickened. Add margarine and cream cheese at this time, and allow it to melt throughout.

Tips: 

Add sliced vegan hot dogs, or olives if desired.
