Verna Vegan Oatmeal Squares
Ingredients
- 4 cup quick oats
- 1 cup coconut
- 1½ cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup brown sugar or sucanat
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp flax seeds (optional)
- 1 cup raisins or dates
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup nut butter
- 1 cup carob chips or vegan chocolate chips
- ¾ cup water
- ¼ cup canola oil
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together, be ready to get your hands in there.
- Put into an oiled pan approx ½" thick and push down with your hands and then smooth it out with a flat serving spoon.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.
