Vegan Shortcake

Ingredients
  

  • cup canola oil
  • ¾ cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 tbsp sucanat
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder

Instructions
 

  • Grease and flour a round cake pan. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix wet ingredients and vanilla and Sucanat together.
  • Combine the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
  • Quickly mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just blended. Spoon into pan and put in oven. Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Tips: 
Serve with your favorite fruit and cream.
