Vegan Garlic Green Beans


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cup whole green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 tbsp slivered garlic
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp water
  • tsp salt or to taste


  • In a large skillet, heat the oil of high heat. Add the beans and garlic and cook stirring 1 minute.
  • Add the lemon juice, water, and salt. Cook and stir until the water evaporates and the beans are soft about 4 minutes.
