Vegan Gravy, Country Style

Have you been looking for a rich, creamy gravy recipe with healthy ingredients? This is it! Pour it over baked potatoes, vegetables and everything else!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup cashew pieces or blanched slivered almonds
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp Herbamare seasoning salt
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Blend cashews with 1 cup water. When thoroughly blended add the remaining ingredients and blend on high for 4-6 minutes.
  2. Pour into saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
