- 2 cups warm water
- 1/2 cup cashew pieces or blanched slivered almonds
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Herbamare seasoning salt
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- Blend cashews with 1 cup water. When thoroughly blended add the remaining ingredients and blend on high for 4-6 minutes.
- Pour into saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
