Plant-Based Gravy, Vegan Country Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 cup warm water
- ½ cup cashew pieces or blanched slivered almonds
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp herbamare seasoning salt
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- ½ tsp postum or pero powder
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Blend cashews with 1 cup water. When thoroughly blended add the remaining ingredients and blend on high for 4-6 minutes.
- Pour into saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
