Baked Oatmeal

A great way to start the day!

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups rolled oatmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 3/4 chopped dates
  • 3 1/2 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Mix the oats, salt, coconut and dates in a large, greased, casserole dish.
  2. Stir in the water. Cover and bake at 375F for 30 minutes.

Tips: 

Be creative. Substitute pineapple chunks for the dates and try adding mandarin orange segments.
