- 2 16-oz. cans of juice-sweetened pears
- 1-2 Tbsp honey alternative
- 1 cup blanched almonds
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Drain the pears and put the juice in the blender. Add all the ingredients to the blender except the pears. Blend until the mixture is very smooth. Add the pears and blend again until smooth. Chill and serve.
This makes a delicious ice cream when frozen in an ice cream freezer.
