Vegan Shortcake
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup canola oil
- ¾ cup non-dairy milk
- 2 tbsp sucanat
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Grease and flour a round cake pan. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix wet ingredients and vanilla and Sucanat together.
- Combine the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl.
- Quickly mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just blended. Spoon into pan and put in oven. Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
